Basic Websites (Static HTML) Design Packages include any web site created in HTML and CSS - commonly known as a Static Website. This means that the website does not have any dynamic content on the website, ie. linking with databases, rss feeds etc. These websites are maintained by SimplyDigital Web Design, as a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS is needed to maintain the website.
Content Management System
Content Management System - CMS - allows the client to make their own changes on their website, without having to know how to code, Basic Rich Text editing is all that is required. This saves you in the long run, as you will not be paying for update fees and you can add as many pages as you want when your site has gone live.
Search Engine Optimisation
In order to get good rankings on the 3 main search engines (Google, Yahoo & Bing) your site needs to be optimized to the specified requirements by the Search Engines. If the specified requirements are not followed the likelihood of getting good rankings are very slim. Website Updates
If you need to make changes to your existing website, be it a static or Content Management System, SimplyDIgital Web Design can meet your needs. We charge an hourly rate of R450.00 per hour, not matter if the changes are big or small.
This cost includes pages, making changes to content, navigation menus or adding new images. If you send through the changes we will be able to give you an approximate completion time. If you are happy with that, we can have your changes finished within a 48 hour period.
Updates Hourly Rate is R450.00 per hour

Website Maintenance
Maintenance for CMS Websites applies to the backup of your CMS or database driven website. Static website designed by SimplyDigital Web Design are backed up weekly. Maintenance is an important procedure in the caring of your website and it is vitally important in case of server crashes and should be done on a regular basis. Without maintenance you could lose your entire website.
Please note that Website Maintenance includes:
Backing up files stored on your server
Backing up the database
Updating modules or plugins if and when required for your CMS
Updating CMS to the latest Version
Weekly Backups of your Database and Files for your CMS
R450.00 for Standard website per month.
Please note that this does not include backing up of Email.
